LTLoadLAZMosaic

LTLoadLAZMosaic[{file1,file2,...},opts]

decodes several adjoining LAZ/LAS tiles, pools all their ground points together, and grids the combined point cloud into a single $ltTerrain-style Association -- simpler than the GeoTIFF mosaic since point clouds just concatenate before the usual triangulation/gridding step, with no stamping into a shared raster needed. Options: "MaxPoints" (per-file cap, same meaning as LTLoadLAZTerrain), "GridSpacing" (for the combined grid). Returns a descriptive failure string if no tile loads successfully or the combined grid would be too large.

Point clouds simply concatenate before the usual triangulation and gridding step, so no stamping into a shared raster is needed and there are no seams to fill.

"MaxPoints" is a per-file cap, with the same meaning as in LTLoadLAZTerrain.

The same external decoder requirement applies to compressed tiles as for LTLoadLAZTerrain.
