LTBakePolygon

LTBakePolygon[terrain,polygon,formationRL]
	embeds a pad -- the closed boundary polygon, cut or filled to the platform level formationRL -- into terrain and gives the modified terrain Association.

LTBakePolygon[terrain,polygon,formationRL,cutRatio,fillRatio,verticalWalls,formationRLFn]
	sets the cut and fill batter slopes, whether the boundary is a vertical face rather than a battered one, and a function giving the formation level across the pad in place of a flat platform.

Details and Options

With vertical walls the pad is a flat platform with vertical faces at the boundary, and quantities are reported for the footprint alone. Without them, one-sided batters run outward from the boundary like a road, and quantities cover the interior plus the batter ring.

Passing a function rather than a number for the formation level gives a floor that follows a triangulated surface through design levels set as VIPs on the polygon's own control line, instead of a flat platform.

Refine the terrain first on small pads -- see LTRefineTerrain -- or a coarse mesh will render the battered walls badly.

▪

A polygon needs at least three vertices.
