SeepagePlot

SeepagePlot
[sol,"Head"|"PorePressure"|"Speed"|"Gradient",opts]
draws a filled contour map of the chosen field over the flow domain.

Details and Options
▪
field is "Head", "PorePressure", "Speed", or "Gradient".
▪
For an unconfined solution, "PorePressure" extends above the water table into the unsaturated zone, contouring negative pore pressure (suction) with a tension cut-off at "SuctionCap" metres of head (default 1 m ≈ 9.81 kPa); set "IncludeSuction" ->
False
for the saturated zone only.
▪
The following options can be given:
"PlotPoints"
60
Sampling resolution passed to the underlying
ContourPlot
.
"SuctionCap"
1.
Positive metres of head at which negative pore pressure (suction) above the water table is clipped in the "PorePressure" map.
"IncludeSuction"
Automatic
Whether the "PorePressure" map extends into the unsaturated zone above the water table; Automatic does so whenever sol has a phreatic surface.
▪
Also accepts any
ContourPlot
option, e.g.
Contours
or
ColorFunction
.
