SeepageUnconfined

SeepageUnconfined
[spec,opts]
solves an unconfined problem (earth dam, slope) with an iteratively located phreatic surface.
spec
is an
Association
:
"Profile"counterclockwise
polygon of the dam/slope cross-section,
"UpstreamLevel"Hu
,
"DownstreamLevel"Hd
(flow left to right),
"Layers"optional
{<|"Polygon"->..,"kx"->..,"ky"->..|>..} (else give "kx","ky" for homogeneous), "kx",
"ky"conductivities
if homogeneous. The base (bottom edge) is impermeable. Returns same keys as
SeepageSolve
plus "PhreaticSurface" (list of points), "ExitPoint", "SaturatedRegion".
Options
include "Recharge" (= "Rainfall"), steady surface infiltration in m/s that crosses the phreatic surface (raises the water table and pore pressures on a slope, or drains to a boundary), and
"UpstreamNoFlow"
True
to make the upstream face a mid-spacing no-flow divide (parallel-drain design).
