Photon Energy Using Angular Frequency

A photon is an elementary particle, the quantum of the electromagnetic field including electromagnetic radiation (such as light) and the force carrier for the electromagnetic force. The energy of a photon depends only on its angular frequency.

The energy equals the reduced Planck constant times the angular frequency.
