To build endurance, one must surely strive,
Every day, to keep the body alive.

Get the heart pumping, let the blood flow.

To build your stamina, make your heart strong.
Running, cycling, or perhaps a swim,
Choose a sport that suits your whim.
Add in interval training, swift and short,
For this, your lungs and heart will sport.
Push to the limit, then slow it down,
Repeat this cycle, don't wear a frown.
Strength training, too, must take its place,
To build your muscles, at a steady pace.
Lift some weights, or do some squats,
Your body will thank you, in lots and lots.
Rest and recovery, don't overlook,
For it's during this time, strength is took.
Sleep, nutrition, and hydration, too,
Are just as important, I assure you.
And finally, consistency is king,
To your regimen, you must cling.
Day by day, and week by week,
The progress you seek, you will peek.
This regimen, if followed well,
Will make you strong, as time will tell.
