Compare two satellite images of Venice, Italy, using an interactive graphical user interface

Consider two satellite images. The first image is a radar image taken by the ESA satellite Sentinel-1 on Sep 09 2017; the second image is an optical photograph taken by Sentinel-2 on Sep 21 2017:

Use

DynamicImage

on one of the images to display a dynamic version of the image, specifying the center of the image and zoom factor. Use click+drag on the image to pan, and Shift+click+drag vertically to zoom in or out. Move the scrollbar ends to change the cropping:

Use

DynamicModule

to draw interactive graphics primitives on top of the two images displayed together. Try zooming and panning one of the images:
